Dr. Mohammad Raslan has more than 15 years of experience in ophthalmology. His scope of practice included several subspecialties in ophthalmic surgery, and he had performed several thousands of successful surgeries.
Prior to Dr. Raslan appointment to Arabi Specialized Hospital, He held several leadership positions, He was the general director of Syrian National Eye Bank for several years before shifting to Sultanate of Oman, where he held the post of medical director of German Eye Center for four years till the end of 2021.

Dr. Raslan has a vast experience in cataract and refractive surgery, including complicated and challanging cases of cataract, premium Intraocular lenses implantation, secondary IOL implantation with modern scleral fixation techniques, in addition to different types of refractive and vision correction surgeries including PRK, Lasik , Femto-Lasik and Phakic Intraocular lens implantation.

Dr. Raslan had performed several hundreds of corneal transplants, both penetrating and lamellar keratoplasty.

Dr. Raslan is a competent vitreoretinal surgeon with high experience in medical and surgical management of several retinal disease including Diabetic Retinopathy, rhegmatogenous retinal detachment, vascular retinal diseases, macular hole and epiretinal membrane.
